The 36th America's Cup Race Course area was revealed on August 31, 2018. The Waitemata Harbour and the Hauraki Gulf are widely regarded as ‘The jewel in Auckland’s crown’ and will offer a plethora of race course options, with a full range of wind directions and conditions, but with the overarching objective to bring the racing as close as possible to the people and land-based viewing opportunities. Animation Research Ltd was asked to produce an animation visualizing the race course area by Emirates Team New Zealand.
